LONGi, a prominent solar technology manufacturer, unveiled its latest solar PV product line, Hi-MO 6, today. This cutting-edge product boasts a remarkable maximum efficiency of 22.8% while offering exceptional safety features and aesthetic appeal.

LONGi’s latest solar module product line, Hi-MO 6, incorporates their advanced HPBC (Hybrid Passivated Back Contact) cell technology. This innovative approach revolutionizes the traditional busbar design and internal structure, resulting in a busbar-free front side of the modules. As a result, Hi-MO 6 modules achieve higher power output and enhanced aesthetic appeal. They also exhibit outstanding performance in challenging conditions, such as high temperatures and low irradiation, while maintaining excellent power degradation performance. Through extensive simulations, Hi-MO 6 modules have consistently demonstrated a significant generation advantage over PERC modules, with an average increase in generation of up to 10% in typical scenarios.

In order to meet the requirements of various distributed applications and ensure robust safety and reliability, LONGi’s research and development team has introduced a new one-line structure to replace the traditional Z-shaped soldering structure. This enhancement aims to enhance the modules’ resistance to cracking.

By harnessing the potential of Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), LONGi introduces the “digital brain” feature to its Hi-MO 6 modules. This advanced functionality includes a pre-installed smart optimizer that continuously gathers real-time operational data from the modules. This data is then utilized for remote monitoring and system optimization. The inclusion of this feature proves particularly advantageous in scenarios such as PV system failures or module shading. It guarantees the safety of power plants while simultaneously maximizing the overall power output of the system.

The Hi-MO 6 lineup comprises four distinct series: Explorer, Scientist, Guardian, and Artist. All of these series are designed in the standard M10 size, measuring 182mm. Each series offers multiple model options, including 54C, 60C, 66C, and 72C, providing customers with a diverse range of choices to meet their specific requirements.
