Horizon Power, the regional energy provider for Western Australia, has signed its inaugural Indigenous Land Use Agreement (ILUA) with the Nyul Nyul people of Beagle Bay in Kimberley. This agreement pertains to a planned solar PV development.
As per the agreement, Horizon Power will have access to a four-hectare land parcel to create a “future energy system aimed at providing greater renewable energy for the community.”
