Produced at Heliene’s Minnesota plant, these units will bolster Nexamp’s efforts in creating and building approximately 400 new community solar initiatives nationwide. Together, these projects are anticipated to deliver clean energy cost savings to around 250,000 households, simultaneously enhancing the clean energy capacity on the grid.

Benefiting from the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which extends and broadens investment tax credits for clean energy sources, Heliene expanded its facility in November of last year. Further expansions are scheduled for September 2023 to boost its manufacturing capacity.

“At the announcement event, U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer M. Granholm expressed gratitude for the collaboration between Heliene and Nexamp in revitalizing the solar supply chain within the United States. She highlighted that with the support of the Inflation Reduction Act, companies such as Nexamp and Heliene can make investments that not only enhance American manufacturing and job creation but also reduce energy costs for families.”

Martin Pochtaruk, President of Heliene, stated, “The well-crafted incentives and industrial policies outlined in the IRA will propel the ongoing expansion of solar initiatives. This partnership positions Heliene and Nexamp to fulfill demand with top-notch, domestically produced solar modules.”
