Enphase Energy has commenced the distribution of its latest, more powerful IQ8 Microinverters — namely the IQ8HC and IQ8X — tailored to complement solar panels with capacities of up to 540 Wdc. The IQ8HC Microinverters are accessible across all of North America, while the IQ8X Microinverters are specifically available in the United States.

The IQ8HC and IQ8X Microinverters boast a maximum output AC power of 384 W. The HC variant can handle a consistent DC current of 14 amperes. On the other hand, the IQ8X is compatible with solar panels featuring elevated output DC voltage and various cell configurations, including 96-cells, 80 half-cut cells, and 88 half-cut cells.

Alongside IQ Microinverters, Enphase Energy Systems in North America can be combined with IQ Batteries, providing a comprehensive solution that can be customized for self-consumption, cost savings, or complete backup capabilities.

The IQ Combiners merge interconnection components into a unified enclosure, simplifying solar and storage setups with a standardized, pre-wired solution encompassing an IQ Gateway, cellular modem, current transformers (CTs), and additional features. These IQ Combiners facilitate internet connectivity for the entire system, enabling remote updates and integration with the Enphase App monitoring platform.
