Ampliform’s IRA Compliance Agreement with Empact Technologies

Ampliform's solar initiatives

Ampliform, a solar developer, has recently entered into a partnership with Impact Technologies, a software and services company. Under this agreement, Impact Technologies will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) for Ampliform’s existing and upcoming projects. This collaboration aims to streamline and effectively manage the regulatory requirements associated with Ampliform’s solar initiatives.

As per the agreement, Empact Technologies will collaborate with Ampliform’s project engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms, subcontractors, and key suppliers of steel and iron products, solar modules, trackers, and inverters. Their role will involve overseeing prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, ensuring compliance with domestic content regulations, and managing other tax incentive qualifications throughout the entire project lifecycle. This comprehensive approach aims to maintain adherence to regulatory guidelines and maximize the benefits of tax incentives for Ampliform’s projects.

Rob Stoever, Ampliform’s Senior Vice President of Engineering and Construction, expressed the company’s mission to enhance the efficiency of solar and renewable energy projects. He highlighted Empact Technologies as the pioneering platform in the industry that specializes in guiding energy development initiatives through compliance with IRA tax incentives. This partnership reflects Ampliform’s commitment to ensuring seamless integration of regulatory requirements and maximizing the benefits of tax incentives for their projects.

At present, Ampliform is actively pursuing the development of approximately 700MW of projects in the short term. Furthermore, they have an extensive development pipeline that includes an additional 3GW of projects. With ambitious goals for growth, Ampliform envisions expanding its portfolio to exceed 13GWdc in the future. This strategic expansion plan demonstrates their commitment to scaling up their presence in the renewable energy sector and contributing to the overall transition towards sustainable power generation.
